Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story

Established in October 2009, the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story was the first Joint Base in Hampton Roads and is the country's premier installation for housing and training the nation's Expendiontary Forces. It is one command with two properties: Joint Expeditionary Base Fort Story and JEB Little Creek and is known as the crown jewel of America's military bases. The installation is located between Chic's Beach and Norfolk's East Beach in the Northwest area of Virginia Beach. The city, which is the largest city in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area is located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay.
